3D week 2

Our practical work was to come up with 3 different designs for a CDU shoulder bag.
Different colour/ background of the bag:
could be a black or white back, made out of either material or vinyl

The different types of shoulder bags could be either 1 of the 2

both images of the bags provided by google images.

i would prefer the first option for the bag style, but that is just my opinion not the shoppers :)

a few designs i have come up with for a rough draft t add onto the shoulder bags

 

The design on the bottom left using a repetition of the triangle shape to give off a 3D-ish effect. using little cut out bits to fill in the empty spaces in each letter. The style has a rather abstract over view of the logo.

The design in the middle has just a randomly drawn up shape, but if you look at it carefully it looks like a flower sprouting out of the shell/ seed. The text is in like a bubble-ish text. the styling of this design was randomness,  using random shapes and type of text to make them stand out.

The final design on the right is a simple 1 using a dot like font for each letter, like a infected mushroom sort of thing. the style of it is quite popular in today's society so some would like it.

each design ha a different aspect about them. each covering shape, media and style.

the bottom left design addresses media. using a repetition of a shape to create a vortex, something rather retro . the text is using a shape based font with little bits to fill in the spaces.

the design in the middle covers shape. the shape of the image is randomly drawn, but began as a circle, which lead to bloom or sprouting features, to give it a flower like look. the text is represented in a bubble font.

the media of all 3 designs can be all digitally done after being hand drawn, scanned and refined. the 3rd design on the right can be physically done with buttons or metal tacks like on a pair of jeans or a jacket.
