1. Relatives - A doctor in London had a brother in Manchester, who was a lawyer - but
the lawyer in Manchester did not have a brother in London who was a doctor. Why?
- the "brother" in Manchester is of the African American society
A - the doctor in London is actually a sister

Q2. Bottled Money - If you put a small coin piece in an empty bottle and replaced the
cork, how would you get the coin out of the bottle without taking out the cork or breaking
the bottle?
- there could be 2 bottles
- there could be a hole in the bottom of the bottle
A - push the cork into the bottle

Q3. The Restaurant Meal - Three women each have two daughters, and they all go into a
restaurant for a meal. There are only seven vacant seats in the restaurant, but each has
a seat for herself. How do they manage it?
- the kids shared the seats
A - 1 f the ladies was the grandma and the other 2 were daughters, which both had 2 kids. total 7 people

Mike :
- was a taxi driver
- bought fire arms and thought about going into the new route
- he hired a jet pack

also discussed/ shared my information about my 2d designed concept with the class, so i don't have any of the discussion written down =(

but my 2d design was to do a fantasy/ magical collage of a few of my uni friends, by giving them magical powers and abilities which will look rather quite amazing, if i do the effect techniques correct.

The  2 images above were searched and found on google images

PRACTICAL – Design challenge / reflect & refine
40 mins – Choose your most recent 2D design concept from all your current works

My 2D design will be my label tags
• In your Visual Diary make a list of 2 assumptions about your design
  1. different sizes for the tags
  2. different styles

• Challenge both of these assumptions
  1. making a medium or big sized tag would be more easier to see, but to big and it would be a nuisance and take up a lot of room
  2. experimenting with more different styles would show more of my design appeals and the styles i like

• Suggest 2 refinements to solve these challenges
  1. making a medium/ average sized tag would be more ideal as it can easily be seen yet not take up majority of the room on the page
  2. experimenting with more styles would increase my range of skills and techniques that i know and help me further understand more ways of design

  1. Mike's Audition is the GROUP EXERCISE (not the practical) - on page 2 of the PDF it says you need to list your assumptions - then challenge the assumptions. Please finish this.

You also need to address the Design Challenge PRACTICAL on page 3 of the PDF.
