also discussed/ shared my information about my 2d designed concept with the class, so i don't have any of the discussion written down =(
but my 2d design was to do a fantasy/ magical collage of a few of my uni friends, by giving them magical powers and abilities which will look rather quite amazing, if i do the effect techniques correct.
The 2 images above were searched and found on google images
PRACTICAL – Design challenge / reflect & refine
40 mins – Choose your most recent 2D design concept from all your current works
My 2D design will be my label tags
• In your Visual Diary make a list of 2 assumptions about your design
- different sizes for the tags
- different styles
• Challenge both of these assumptions
- making a medium or big sized tag would be more easier to see, but to big and it would be a nuisance and take up a lot of room
- experimenting with more different styles would show more of my design appeals and the styles i like
• Suggest 2 refinements to solve these challenges
- making a medium/ average sized tag would be more ideal as it can easily be seen yet not take up majority of the room on the page
- experimenting with more styles would increase my range of skills and techniques that i know and help me further understand more ways of design
Mike's Audition is the GROUP EXERCISE (not the practical) - on page 2 of the PDF it says you need to list your assumptions - then challenge the assumptions. Please finish this.
ReplyDeleteYou also need to address the Design Challenge PRACTICAL on page 3 of the PDF.
