Practical work

2 test experiments with the pros/ cons of each

ex.1 using actual sparklers/ fire to create the glow/ magical effect
pros

• would look rather nice
• seems like a fun thing to do
• keeps the group active in the process 
• would have a authentic feel/ look to it

cons

• a bit dangerous
• would take a large amount of time to get things perfect/ exact 
• will be using photoshop/ illustrator anyway, so could do it in there instead
• would be costly to play around with the materials
• needs quite a fair bit of planning 

ex.2 doing it all digitally to begin with 

pros

• easier to work with
• better looking effects
• cheaper
• more creativity options 
• better edits

cons

• would take a considerable amount of time
• could get saw eyes
• chances are comp crashes out and loose progress 

Choosing & refusing 

Option 2 seems more do-able and easier. with option 1 using the real fire and sparklers, will give a more authentic look but could be a bit tricky of injury or accidents. so in conclusion option 2 seems best, because it is less ricky of any harmful nature to anyone and the environment... and also gives a chance to refine my skills on photoshop/ illustrator as i am a bit out of touch.
