2D & 3D week 12

Today mark was here and there so we had time to do out own thing. I used this time to work more on my 2D & 3D design that i will be exhibiting.

in the design i will be using Sarah Modoh as my model and i shall be giving her angel wings but they will look more abstract and "fluffy" around the edges of it. The look of the wings will look like they were spray painted on, sort of like graffiti art.

at the top i will be adding a real life spray can for the 3D aspect and also making a cut out to make it look like it is spraying onto the paper.

finding the right paper to print on is also a bit hard, i want to use paper with a bit of rough texture, like the ones we have in our visual dairy

but it shall be all done in time for exhibiting :)

Everyones progress:

Jarrod: he has officially finished building/ making his custom wood port folio, he has attached the binder to the wood and fit the A3 leaflets perfectly.

Amelia: her lanterns are nearly finished, but her prototypes look awesome! the finished product will look spectacular.

Sarah: her poster/ pamphlet prototype looks good and very official, she is just waiting to get her other displays printed, mounted and set up.

Stevie: she been looking into getting her foam blocks cut professionally, so shall have to see the outcome when she finds and gets it cut.

Jess: her drawings/ drafts look great and well drawn, just gotta wait for her to finish and then digitally enhance the images. 

Carol: she has finished her caterpillar and it is rather large and well done! nicely stuck together, looks like something you would buy from a arts & crafts shop.
